The Detox Solution is a company-operated vending service, not an individual owner-operator route. Facility partnerships, installation, restocking, servicing and regulatory compliance are handled by the company's operations team. We work exclusively with adult-only residential facilities where nicotine is permitted. We do not place machines in facilities that serve minors, and we do not approach nicotine-free programs. Those are hard limits, not preferences.
The short version: a treatment facility gets a fully managed nicotine vending machine, pays nothing, receives nothing, and does nothing beyond telling us where to put it.
What we actually do
Adults in residential treatment who already use nicotine generally have two options: leave campus to buy it, or go without. The first creates a supervision problem for the facility. We provide a third option — a controlled, on-site, age-verified machine that removes the reason to leave.
The service covers everything:
- The machine. Purchased, owned, delivered and installed by us. Install takes under 45 minutes and requires nothing from facility staff.
- Restocking. A local manager monitors inventory remotely and comes on site to refill it. Nothing ships to the facility. No staff member ever handles product.
- Service and maintenance. Hardware faults, coil issues and repairs are ours.
- Compliance. Licensing, tax, age verification and reporting sit with us. The facility carries none of it.
- Refunds. If a purchase fails, the machine refunds the resident automatically. Staff never handle a dispute.
Why it costs the facility nothing
The program is funded by resident purchases. That is the whole model. The facility is never billed, never fronts money, and never signs a financial commitment.
It also never receives a payment from us, and that part is deliberate. A revenue share on nicotine sales would put a treatment facility in the position of profiting from resident nicotine use — a compliance and optics problem for them, and a line item their board would have to defend. Keeping money entirely out of the relationship removes the question before anyone has to ask it.
How the machine is controlled
Every unit is cashless and verifies age on device before it will dispense — an ID scan that blocks anyone under 21. It runs on its own cellular connection and never touches the facility's network, so there is no IT review and no credentials to issue. The cabinet is locking steel. The facility chooses the placement, sets the house rules, and can have it switched off at any time.

Leaving
There is no long-term obligation. If the service is not right for a facility, we remove the machine at no cost. We would rather make leaving easy than have a machine somewhere it is not wanted.
